Jill on Writing

For many years, I’ve been an editor for writers in fiction, nonfiction, memoir, poetry, and academic and professional work. I’ve come to believe that written documents are well served by a cold reader with a strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and how to write in a clear accessible style that will draw readers in and keep them reading.

You’ll find links here to e-books that describe some of what I’ve learned over the years for different genres. There’s also a link to a video interview where I discuss many of these ideas.
